Automotive PLC Programming

Standards-compliant PLC logic for body, paint and assembly lines — written offline, verified virtually and commissioned on site by the same team.

What we deliver

We write PLC control logic that conforms to the client's standards — for body shop, paint shop and final assembly lines. Code is produced offline, verified in a virtual environment and then commissioned on site through to start of production.

Standards we work to

We program within the major automotive standards, so our code integrates with the plant's existing base without friction.

  • Integra 4–7 (Daimler)
  • VASS 5/6 (Volkswagen)
  • Wave 5/6 PLC & Safety
  • Volvo V6 · SICAR · MBLU · TKB

Platforms and tools

We work natively on the platforms automotive lines run on.

  • Siemens TIA Portal · Step 7 · WinCC · SiVArc
  • Rockwell Studio 5000 · Schneider EcoStruxure
  • Eplan · Sinamics · Lenze · SEW
  • PROFINET · PROFIsafe · PN/PN · Scalance

How an engagement runs

For us, PLC programming is not a stand-alone service — it sits inside the full commissioning lifecycle owned by one team.

  • Offline: program structure, sequence logic and interfaces
  • Virtual: logic validated in simulation before hardware
  • Safety: F-PLC logic, zones and PL/SIL compliance
  • On-site IBN: functional testing and start-up

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you work as an external team or subcontractor?

Yes. We work as an external team of senior engineers — in a package model or as support to the client's team, offline and on site across Europe.

Which controllers do you program?

Primarily Siemens (TIA Portal, Step 7) and Rockwell Studio 5000. Communication based on PROFINET, PROFIsafe and PN/PN.

Does programming include functional safety?

Yes. F-PLC logic, E-Stop matrix, safety zones and PL/SIL compliance are part of our scope.

Do you cover on-site commissioning?

Yes. The same team carries the code from offline structure, through virtual validation, to on-site IBN and ramp-up to start of production.
